AdoptedSegment: One segment a survivor adopts from a participant that left, with the view-log object that holds its bytes.
AdoptedViewLog: The segments of one view a survivor adopts, in the departed log’s order.
CommittedCheckpointIndex: Canonical global recovery index selected by one Commit outcome.
CommittedCheckpointRef: Content-addressed reference carried by a terminal Commit outcome.
CommittedParticipantRef: Exact immutable participant objects admitted into a committed cut.

adopted_view_logs: The view logs adopter adopts when the participants of cut that target lacks leave.
canonical_json_bytes: Serialize JSON with recursively ordered object keys.
canonical_json_sha256: SHA-256 of canonical JSON, encoded as lowercase hexadecimal.
check_view_log_adoption: Whether the survivors of target can adopt the logs of the participants of cut it lacks.
fold_view_frontiers: The committed frontier of each append-only view at a cluster cut: the minimum of the participants’ frontiers, never below the predecessor’s. A participant whose view has no frontier yet holds the predecessor’s, so rows it may still replay stay retained; an idle participant takes no part. A view no participant logs is dropped.
validate_cut_view_logs: Every view-log segment of a cut is listed once, and every participant that writes or references a view-log object agrees on its length and digest.
validate_departed_view_logs: Every segment the departed participants’ view logs held at the predecessor cut is listed exactly once, by the same view, in this cut.
