pub enum SourceReplayOrder {
Unspecified,
SingleChannel,
SingleChannelFixedBatches,
}Expand description
Row order and batch boundaries reproduced when resuming a source cursor.
This is separate from row positions and delivery guarantees. The runtime must enforce the declared batch boundaries before relying on them for input/timer replay.
Variants§
Unspecified
The source does not promise a replay order.
SingleChannel
One physical input channel reproduces the same ordered suffix from a committed cursor, including the order of different keys. Poll size and timing must not reorder rows, and recovery must retain the channel identity. Independent-channel merging is excluded; this raw row-order promise does not reproduce watermark cuts.
SingleChannelFixedBatches
One global physical channel, with the same ordered rows in the same nonempty batches after a committed cursor. Poll limits and timing must not change batch membership. The channel may move between nodes under splittable placement; independent channels are excluded. Deterministic row positions and bounded atomic batches are required.
Process-function execution treats each batch as one input/watermark cut. The engine derives event-time progress from that batch and excludes external and wall-clock advancement. Transport batching may change within a cut without changing its end.
