Non-secret description of the selected credential mechanism.

Variants§

§

ExplicitStatic

Long-lived credentials were supplied in connector configuration.

§

ExplicitToken

A bearer or session token was supplied in connector configuration.

§

EnvironmentStatic

Long-lived credentials were discovered in provider environment variables.

§

EnvironmentToken

A bearer, session, or shared-access token was discovered in the environment.

§

Profile

An explicitly selected provider profile will be loaded downstream.

§

WebIdentity

AWS web identity will be exchanged by the downstream provider.

§

WorkloadIdentity

Federated workload identity will be loaded by the downstream provider.

§

ManagedIdentityOrMetadata

Instance, container, or managed-identity metadata will be used downstream.

§

ApplicationDefault

Google Application Default Credentials will be loaded downstream.

§

AzureCli

An existing Azure CLI session will be loaded downstream.

§

Anonymous

Requests are deliberately unsigned for a compatibility/test endpoint.

The pinned provider library retains responsibility for credential discovery.
