Immutable, versioned binding for one process function. The initial state codec is an optional signed 64-bit value; a present null is distinct from absent state.
Fields§
§version: u32Descriptor format version. Currently only 1 is admitted.
runtime: ProcessRuntimeRuntime that executes the immutable implementation.
function_id: StringStable function identity, independent of the output stream name.
pipeline_state_id: StringStable pipeline state identity. Two pipelines must use different identities.
implementation_digest: StringHex SHA-256 of the trusted native build or other immutable implementation identity.
determinism: ProcessDeterminismEffects contract bound into the canonical manifest and checkpoint identity.
python_environment: Option<PythonEnvironmentBinding>Optional Python runtime and import-tree identity checked by the local supervisor. File hashes detect deployment drift; they do not enforce lifetime immutability.
input_schema: SchemaRefExact input schema admitted from one direct source. V1 retains accepted per-key arrival order; timestamps do not sort input. Replayable source positions alone do not define the merge order of independent input partitions.
output_schema: SchemaRefExact append-only output schema.
key_columns: Vec<String>Ordered, nonnullable canonical partition-key columns.
event_time_column: StringNonnullable UTC microsecond input timestamp column.
output_event_time_column: StringUTC microsecond output timestamp column; output may not precede its activation.
value_state_name: StringStable name of the one managed ValueState<Int64?> slot.
timer_names: Vec<String>Names of supported event-time timers.
limits: ProcessFunctionLimitsHard execution and retained-state limits.
Implementations§
Source§impl ProcessFunctionDescriptor
impl ProcessFunctionDescriptor
Sourcepub fn to_manifest_json(&self) -> Result<Vec<u8>, DbError>
pub fn to_manifest_json(&self) -> Result<Vec<u8>, DbError>
Encode the validated v1 function contract as canonical UTF-8 JSON. This is a portable package and negotiation manifest; it does not package native code or certify replay.
§Errors
Rejects unsupported schemas or invalid descriptor fields.
Sourcepub fn from_manifest_json(bytes: &[u8]) -> Result<Self, DbError>
pub fn from_manifest_json(bytes: &[u8]) -> Result<Self, DbError>
Decode and validate a v1 function manifest. Unknown fields and unsupported semantics fail closed; the caller must separately bind the implementation digest to trusted code.
§Errors
Rejects malformed, oversized or incompatible manifests.
