Per-sink commit status tracked during the checkpoint commit phase.

After the manifest is persisted (Step 5), sinks start as Pending. The coordinator updates each sink’s status during commit (Step 6) and saves the manifest again. Recovery uses these statuses to determine which sinks need rollback.

Sink has been pre-committed but not yet committed.

Committed

Sink commit succeeded.

Sink commit failed.
